Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TapDoc (the "Platform"), operated by Medform Software LTD ("Medform", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What TapDoc is and is not

TapDoc is a discovery and booking platform that helps patients find healthcare professionals with real-time availability and book appointments. TapDoc is not a healthcare provider, does not practise medicine, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any information surfaced via our chat assistant is for navigation and triage convenience only and must not be relied upon as medical advice.

Emergencies: TapDoc is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. Professionals must hold all licences and registrations required to practise in their jurisdiction.

Booking for others: you may book on behalf of another person (such as a child or dependant) only if you are their parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorised to act for them. By doing so you confirm you have authority to share their information with us and the selected professional for the purpose of the booking.

3. Patient bookings

  • To book, you provide your name and a mobile number which we verify by one-time SMS code.
  • Bookings are made directly into the professional's calendar; the professional is solely responsible for honouring, rescheduling or cancelling appointments.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for attending booked appointments.
  • Returning, previously verified patients may book without re-verifying each time.

4. Professional accounts & subscriptions

  • Professionals may create an account, connect a Google Calendar, and publish an editable profile ("minisite").
  • Live booking, website links, review management and prioritized placement require an active paid subscription (currently US$79/month, localized per country).
  • Billing is processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, who handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
  • You authorise TapDoc to read your calendar free/busy information and to create, update and delete appointment events you receive through the Platform. We use this Google data solely to operate these booking features, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including its Limited Use requirements), and we do not use it to train or improve AI or machine-learning models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Listings, claiming & unclaimed profiles

Some profiles are compiled from publicly available sources (such as business listings and official professional registers) and are shown as unclaimed listings with limited, read-only information and no booking. A professional may claim their profile to edit it and, with a subscription, enable booking. To request correction or removal of an unclaimed listing, see our data requests page.

6. Reviews

Reviews may only be submitted by patients with a verified booking for the professional being reviewed. Reviews must be honest, lawful and not defamatory. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Platform, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it, or use it unlawfully.
  • Do not submit false, misleading or unlawful content, or impersonate others.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design and content (excluding professional-supplied content) are owned by us and protected by law. You retain rights to content you submit and grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the Platform.

9. Disclaimers, limitation of liability & indemnity

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant the accuracy of professional information, availability, or outcomes of any appointment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of professionals or patients.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or certain consumer guarantees).

Indemnity (professionals): professionals agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from their services, their content, their breach of these Terms, or any dispute between them and a patient.

10. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Platform, its users or the public. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Medform Software LTD is registered, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, again without prejudice to any non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. TapDoc operates in Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Poland.

12. General

These Terms (together with any documents they reference, such as our Privacy Policy and Paddle's buyer terms) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified on the Platform.
